What is included in the Campervan and Motorhome Course?

Motorhome Training

WHEN YOU CONTACT US, WE WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

Height, Length and Width of your Campervan or Motorhome

Make, Model and Registration

Copy of your Insurance Certificate

You will need to generate a Driving Licence Check Code following the link:

https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

AND let us have your Driving Licence Number in order for you to share your driving licence details with us.

HOW LONG WILL THE TRAINING TAKE PLACE?

Training would be for either a half day (3 hours) or a full day (6 hours) on either a 1-1 or 2-1 basis it’s up to you.

WHERE WOULD WE MEET YOU?

The Driving Instructor could meet you at a mutually convenient point and if you prefer to stay on a local camp site in Worcestershire then please contact us and we can recommend one for you.  Please note that if a start point is out of our area, then mileage may be charged.

VEHICLE CHECKS:

To enable the Driving Instructor to spend more time with you for Driver Training we would ask that you watch the following videos and familiarise yourself first with the vehicle checks of your vehicle which will be similar to your car and be able to locate the bonnet catch!  We appreciate that this might be new to you and therefore, if you would like the vehicle checks to be included with your driver training session then we can assist you with this.

You might be thinking of what you would do if your partner suddenly became ill and no longer able to drive your Motorhome or Campervan, especially if you have never actually driven it yourself.  It may be that the size of vehicle has put you off even getting into the driving seat!

The Driver Training can be done on a 2-1 or 1-1 basis – it’s up to you!

If it’s on a 2-1 basis then both people can learn off each other and this may benefit you both rather than having a 1-1.

PARTICULAR TOPICS COVERED WOULD BE:

Road positioning of vehicles at junctions due to the size of the vehicle which will be different to when driving your own car.

Using a Sat Nav and a handy tip would be to make a note of the route numbers on a set of Post-it Notes to ensure that you don’t end up taking your vehicle down a narrow lane and unable to turn the vehicle around!

AT THE END OF THE TRAINING SESSION:

An informative Driver Report will be sent to you at the end of your training session.

For further information on what can be included in your Training Programme and a copy of our Course Content, please contact Anita Haddon-Davies on 07983 881013, where training can be tailored to your specific needs.  Training is charged on an hourly basis recommending either a half day or full day’s training, with a qualified Driving Instructor.

PLEASE NOTE:  You will need to check that your Campervan or Motorhome is covered for ‘Business Use’ in order to carry out driver training in YOUR vehicle OR be using a leased vehicle that will be covered for the purposes of receiving driver training.

£30 per hour.  Please contact Anita on 07983 881013 to discuss your needs further.

I have had fantastic tuition from your company today.  The Driving Instructor was so helpful, patient, and gave me great tips to avoid crunching those gears.  Would highly recommend your Campervan and Motorhome driver training sessions.  Thank you!
