Driving Lessons & Instructors in Pershore

You may be heading towards your 17th birthday and excited about learning to drive and the freedom that it will bring you.  You can drive to places on your own or take your friends for a night out with you being the ‘taxi service’, which tends to happen to most people once they know you have a driving licence.  But still, you have this urge for independence and now you have it!

If you decided to learn to drive with AHD Driver Training Ltd and live in Pershore, our Driving Instructor would teach you around parts of Pershore and then you would drive further afield throughout Droitwich and Worcester. The Test Station is located in Warndon, Worcestershire and you will be taken around the test routes to familiarise yourself with them, enjoying the experience of driving around many different types of roads, such as town driving, rural roads and dual carriageway. With this in mind, we would recommend a 2 hour lesson. We use a multitude of areas to drive around such as, Mill Lane and Mill Lane Close, Pershore, off the A4104. Allesborough Drive and Woodward Road, Pershore.

Pershore Driving Lessons

We are a local independent driver training company who have experienced driving instructors that can help you pass your driving test and aim for you to pass the practical test on your 1st attempt like so many other people who have trained with us.  We have a selection of vehicles that we use from a VW Golf, VW Polo, Ford Focus and Ford Fiesta which are all kept clean, tidy and well maintained for each of your driving lessons.

You will always use the same vehicle for each driving lesson and practical driving test.  On your first driving lesson which will be for 1½ hours, as you are a complete beginner, you will be taken through all of the controls for the vehicle you will driving and asked to read a number plate.  If you wear glasses, you will need to bring them to each driving lesson.  After you feel comfortable with the controls, you will drive around a given ‘nursery route’, using the gears and controls that you have just learnt!  On your 2nd driving lesson, you will be driven to a ‘nursery route’ to continue with ‘moving off and stopping’ and reinforcing the use of the gears.  If you would like to know more information on the practical driving test and hazard perception, even how to steer a vehicle and use of the clutch.
